Educators Are Enthusiastic About Dubai's Celebration Of The Arabian Horse

Around the world, similar projects have found many innovative ways to work with the school systems in their areas. The goals are always to find ways for students to be involved with the art and community service aspects of the projects.

Godolphin has sponsored a total of 18 horses for the schools, higher colleges and universities in Dubai.

Horses have been given to the art departments of Zayed University, the American University Dubai, Dubai Men’s College and Dubai Women’s College to use the design and painting of the horse as a class project encouraging creativity and collaboration.

Twenty-five primary and secondary schools took part in a system-wide design competition for Dubai’s Celebration of the Arabian Horse. We have received hundreds of drawings and 14 winning school entries were chosen. The school designs selected are: Al Ethihad School–Mumzar, Latifa School for Girls, Nad Al Hamar School, Safia Al Qurashia School, Al Ethihad School–Jumeirah, Horizon School, The Indian High School, Dubai English Speaking School, Emirates International School, Modern High School, The English School, The German School, St. Mary’s High School, American School of Dubai.
