When And Where Are Arabian Horses Painted?
Our Arabians were painted in a large "Stable" facility in Creekside Park Children's City over a period of 4 months. It was a period that covered the festivals of Holi and Divali and the Eid holidays as well as Christmas and the New Year. The city of Dubai (friends and families) visited our Stable during these holiday periods and many groups of school children watched as the Arabians were painted by local and regional artists. Tourists were frequent visitors during the Dubai Shopping Festival and Creekside Stables became a favorite destination for all. Our Gallery of the 300+ designs submitted covered a wide range of imaginative styles. Many artists stopped in to drop off their designs or visit fellow artists working on the project. Press conferences were held, Arabian's were sanded and painted and we all watched the Stable of white horses change color as it filled with a brightly painted herd ready for the streets of Dubai.
We thank the Dubai Municipality and all the staff of Creekside Park and Children's City for their friendship, hospitality and good cheer - this public art project would not have been possible without them.
