I was invited by Patricia and Ken Palmer to be part of this exciting event. I had painted a Moose in the Toronto public art project and felt that the Arabian Horse was a wonderful idea of bringing art and the community together in this public art project. Dubai has been good to me, I have been showing in Dubai since 1997 I have been with the Majlis Gallery and have done a large commission for the Emirates Tower Hotel and I thought that this was a way of saying thank you. And of course the generosity of Eytzinger Gold Leaf Manufacturing for supplying me with the gold leaf for "Victory" and "Red Fantasy" which has made these very special horses for me as I could really express myself by doing an original painting as opposed to a design on it.
