Zahrat Dubai was a horse that needed a bit more time in the spring of 1999 and made her seasonal debut in the Group Three Musidora Stakes at York in May, winning impressively. The trip of the Oaks, in which she started favorite, proved too far as she finished third but a drop back to a mile and a quarter for the Group One Nassau Stakes at Goodwood was much more to her liking and she ran out a ready winner from Lady In Waiting. Zahrat Dubai has been retired to the paddocks.
