The dazzling site of this beautiful sculpture covered in blue mirrors is an amazing spectacle. The warm desert sun dances on the cool mirrored reflections by day while the lights of Dubai twinkle around it by night. This horse is a delight to drive by as it sparkles in the sun. Basim Saier used 30,000 fragments of blue mirror to complete his mosaic artwork.
Haya-lights is named in honor of H.R.H. Princess Haya bint Hussein, the patron of the Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre. The Theatre & Arts Centre will be the recipient of funds raised by the auction of this mosaic sculpture.
